अपने मिलन के बाद
बसने वाले उस संसार के

प्यार का आँगन
खिलते फूल महकता मन
प्रेम रंग में रंगे मन

ज़रूर इस आँगन से

नाता टूट जायेगा मेरा

भटकता हुआ एक विहग है

भटकना नहीं पड़ेगा

कुछ बातों को कह पाना मुश्किल होता है
कुछ यादों को भुला पाना नामुमकिन होता है
तेरे प्यार के आँगन की उस मिटटी में खिला
वो बचपन कितना सुन्दर था जो मुझे मिला
उस आँगन की हवाओं की महक यहाँ भी आती है
यादों के रूप में जो हर पल हंसाती रुलाती है
उस घरोंदे में आप की सुरक्षा के तले
लड़ते झगड़ते एक पेड़ की छाँव में हम पले
रिश्ते कितने अनमोल है अहसास ये होता है अब
उस पेड़ की छाँव से जब निकल हम चले
आज आपके जन्मदिन पर यही प्रार्थना करता है मन
उसी प्यार की छाँव हमे जीवन भर मिले
