This is about catching a departed tain. That day, I underestimated city traffic and reached station soon after the train left. I was about to leave the station with a broken heart when an autowallah promised me heaven, oops, the train -the same one which'd just left. Logic? - the train will travel to the next stop at a speed slower than his Ferrari from Bajaj Auto. Alas! So much joy for so little (charging me just 300% more than his meter would ask). Of course, he made it as promised, and I was in this train thinking if I should've taken the same auto for the entire journey and saved more time !!! Want more salt? Well, the train was not supposed to stop a this junction but we made a request Indian style -taught to me by the autowallah, who later confessed doing it almost every day!!!
Hi,how about sharing 36 hrs in a train with a stranger, having a cuppa together, sharing ur favourite books, getting her water from some station, and on the top, lending her ur mobile to make a call to family that is coming to pick her up at station, and then........... .....she jumps off the train at destination station and vanished with her folks without saying u even a goodbye. Poor me had this sweet-sour journey from b'lore to delhi. Hope she reads this blog and reply me a bye.
