आँखों में हसीं सपने आ रहे हैं अपने मिलन के बाद बसने वाले उस संसार के जो मेरा होगा तुम्हारा होगा और बस हमारा होगा प्यार का आँगन खिलते फूल महकता मन प्रेम रंग में रंगे मन ऐसा इन्द्रधनुषी जीवन होगा! ज़रूर इस आँगन से जहाँ जन्म लिया है मैंने नाता टूट जायेगा मेरा शायद इसी लिए मेरा प्यार अभी आँखों में आंसू भरा है और मेरे मन में एक टीस - सी है मुझे विव्ह्लित कर देती है एक गहरी संवेदना है (फिर से देखने लगती हूँ अनंत आकाश और शून्य में) नीले आकाश में श्वेत श्याम बादलों के बीच एक पंच्ची उड़े चला जा रहा है अकेला, नितांत अकेला शायद सुबह का भुला है जो सांझ होने पर अपने घर लौट रहा है या फिर मेरी तरह नीड़ की तलाश में अनंत आकाश में भटकता हुआ एक विहग है पर जड़ों की तलाश में मुझे इस तरह भटकना नहीं पड़ेगा तेरे आँगन की माती में (क्रमश...) एक कोना मेरी चाहत को भी मिलेगा

कुछ बातों को कह पाना मुश्किल होता है कुछ यादों को भुला पाना नामुमकिन होता है तेरे प्यार के आँगन की उस मिटटी में खिला वो बचपन कितना सुन्दर था जो मुझे मिला उस आँगन की हवाओं की महक यहाँ भी आती है यादों के रूप में जो हर पल हंसाती रुलाती है उस घरोंदे में आप की सुरक्षा के तले लड़ते झगड़ते एक पेड़ की छाँव में हम पले रिश्ते कितने अनमोल है अहसास ये होता है अब उस पेड़ की छाँव से जब निकल हम चले आज आपके जन्मदिन पर यही प्रार्थना करता है मन उसी प्यार की छाँव हमे जीवन भर मिले
